Holy Sepulchre is one of the many thousands of Anglican parish churches throughout England which make up our national
Church of England.
A view from the West entrance
Locally this ancient church is known as
Holy Sepulchre or St Sepulchre's.
But more affectionately it is often called St Seps.
The origin of the names of the church can be found
by clicking onto the page "Why St Seps?" on the left.
A map showing where The Church of the Holy Sepulchre
is situated within the Borough of Northampton can be found by clicking onto the Location page on the left.
There is plenty of parking for visitors in the streets nearby
or in the large public car park just to the East of the church
and all within easy walking distance.
Holy Sepulchre and three other local parish churches
work in partnership together as the St Crispin Group of Churches.
The other churches are Christ Church, Holy Trinity (and St Paul)
and St Michael & All Angels (with St Edmund).
St Crispin & St Crispinian are the Patron Saints of
Shoemakers (Cordwainers) and Leather Workers
Holy Sepulchre is one of about 360 parishes in the Church of England's Diocese of Peterborough. The diocese covers the whole of the county of Northamptonshire, Rutland and the Soke of Peterborough.
The location of the Diocese can be found at : http://www.cofe.anglican.org/about/diocesesparishes/diocesesmap.html
