The Northamptonshire Regiment
The Colours of the 1st Battalion, The Northamptonshire Regiment
(formerly the 48th Regiment of Foot )
were laid up on 14 July 1962 in the presence of
Her Royal Highness, The Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester
Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment.

These Colours were originally presented to the Regiment in 1889
and they remain on display, behind glass, in the Warriors' Chapel.
